"For years I had been struggling to find a creative outlet that really felt true to me and flowed easily with a feeling of enjoyment.  I have always been drawn to assemblage artists and particularly Dianne’s work. I was viewing one of her shows and was elated to find out she had workshops.   I signed up and her guidance was totally life changing for me.  She helped me not only expand my ideas about my own creativity, but so importantly, how to bring it to fruition.  She taught me: how to put it together (like literally what kind of glue to use, etc.), different ideas for containers (desk drawers, wine boxes, etc), how to create different effects on my items to really make them look how I wanted, where to find materials, how to help my pieces actually tell a story. Dianne is so incredibly sweet and encouraging.   I had never before taken any art classes and was nervous that I’d be the only beginner.  There was zero attitude and only an atmosphere of fun.   Dianne is very supportive and shares supplies and even some of her own treasures.  Since I took her workshop, it’s as though art has been exploding out of me, like a dam burst.  I have a blast not only creating my pieces, but also so much fun hunting for treasures to use in them.  I truly cannot speak more highly of Dianne and her amazing skill at teaching.  And she is such an inspiring talent!!!  I whole heartedly recommend  her workshops!"
